Do you know that you can download Facebook activity of your personal information from the Facebook account? Yes, You can download a copy of your Facebook information at any time.
You can download all of it with a single click, or you can select only the types of information and date ranges you want.
You can choose to receive your information in an HTML format that is easy to view. Or a JSON format, which could allow another service to more easily import it.
Downloading your information is a password-protected process that only you will have access to. Once you’ve created a file, it will be available for download for a few days only.
If you’d like to view your information without downloading it, you can Access Your Information at any time. For this, you have to visit your “facebook activity log” on your profile.
To download Facebook Information please follow this procedure:
👉 Firstly, log into your Facebook Account from a Computer.
👉 Directly go to this link “Facebook Settings” or click on the top right of any Facebook page and select Settings.
👉 Tap on “Download a copy of your Facebook data” at the bottom of “General Account Settings” click on that.
👉 It’s mandatory to enter ‘Facebook Account Password’ to confirm. This is a security-enabled process.
This ‘Download copy’ includes a lot of information available to you in your activity log. This includes your Timeline info, posts you have shared, messages, photos and more.
Facebook takes some time to prepare your file for download. Facebook will notify you when the file is ready to download.
In my experience mostly choose HTML format for your file and low media quality. If you choose High quality or medium quality for media, your file may take too much time to process and download.
Moving on to the contact section, which reveals all the contacts that I have ever stored on my smartphone, since the day I joined Facebook.
Frankly speaking, most of these contacts, I do not even have it on my smartphone now.
I was really excited when I was found my lost contacts which are 7 years older. But, unluckily some of those contacts are not working.
Anyway, it’s ok, I am a little bit happy for retrieving some working contacts.
Going to the Activity section, You can see everything you have posted on your timeline, since the day you have joined Facebook.
Facebook saving the photos, videos, friends list, and contacts kind of make sense.
The most shocking thing you need to know is messages. Facebook stores entire message history including photos you have shared.
I have really enjoyed the messages in this file, I am memorizing all activities which are done by me from the year 2012. Because I joined on Facebook in 2012.
