After completion of her schedule in the film ‘Pantham’, she travelled to the US to meet her family members. Homeland Immigration officials in the US questioned her for 30 minutes after that she realized that she was a heroine of Tollywood. She told the authorities that she came to the US came to meet her family members.
Speaking to a news agency, she said: “When I found out that I am Telugu heroine, the authorities started questioning me. I was shocked to hear their questions. I went to America many times but never had such a situation. Even I do not know the information about those unsocial tasks at the time they question me. ”
“Immigration officers explained to me what is happening there. They will ask everybody who comes to the US from the Telugu film industry. I told them that I was going to the United States to meet my family members. So they left me apologizing, ” she said.
Mehreen said that they did not feel good on the Telugu film industry. Mehreen expressed his disappointment that she had suffered from their questions and was suffering from a wrongdoing by the entire industry.
